While there is no release date for Ironheart, it has been confirmed that Williams will make her debut in Black Panther 2. Ironheart will see Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams/Ironheart, a "genius inventor who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man. Hawkeye has already taken on the Ronin namesake in Avengers: Endgame, so it will be interesting to see where they take Echo's story.Įcho was expected to debut in Summer 2023, but new reports suggest it may instead be pushed back to 2024. Much like Taskmaster, Echo can copy the fighting style of her opponents and wound up joining the New Avengers as the first Ronin. She is a deaf Native American character who was created by David Mack and Joe Quesada and first appeared in Daredevil Vol. Echo is the adoptive daughter of Kingpin and has long been associated with Daredevil. Furthermore, Echo will make her debut in Marvel's Hawkeye. Echo (2023 or 2024)Įcho is an upcoming series that will star Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez/Echo. Season 2 was originally expected to be among the first MCU projects to hit in 2023, but the season doesn't have a release date and reportedly may be pushed back into 2024. The final part of the preview also was revealed to take place in the year 1602, which is surely a nod to Marvel 1602, a 2003 eight-issue miniseries penned by Neil Gaiman that follows Marvel superheroes that exist in the Elizabethan era, including Nick Fury, X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and more. The preview also showed Thanos fighting Captain America from Infinity War. At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, it was revealed that this new season will feature heroes and villains from the MCU's multiversal realities, including Captain Carter, Steve Rogers as Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor Ragnarok's Hela, Young Star-Lord and Ego, The Scarlet Witch, Mandarin, and more. The first animated series in the MCU will return for a second season in Early 2023. Sinister, White Queen, and Sebastian Shaw of the Hellfire Club. On the villain front, the panel showed off various Sentinels, Mr. Magneto also made an appearance and said, "You’re looking at he new leader of the X-Men." It was also revealed Cable, Bishop, Forge, Morph, NIghtcrawler, and Sunspot would be returning as well.
